So I'm just getting back to work lately. I had some of the weekend off, which was good for me to destress a little bit. I went to Montreal with my two friends for one of their birthdays and it was a lot of fun!
We had tickets to see David Guetta at New City Gas so I got to "rave" it up since the music is very EDM.
So yeah, my friend asked me a few days before what I was wearing to the concert because she was going to warn me to steer clear of anything too nice or anything with too many layers. The club/concert place is 200 degrees basically so she told me to dress in a tank and shorts, beach clothes, right?
I don't have beachy stuff really. I like my shirts buttoned and sleeves rolled and my shorts are nice. I do have beachy shorts but the tanks no sirreeee. So I went to Zara, where I get a lot of my clothes basically, and had to find some stuff. Here is what I got:
And the last photo is what I ended up wanting to wear! The graphic tank was cool to me and it made me look quite tanned so A+ to that.
We took the Greyhound from Ottawa to Montreal which wasn't too long and we talked and played phone games for most of it. When we got to the beautiful Montreal we got food, checked into our hotel and then started to drink for the night. I decided to drink wine because it tastes good and it's simple because I'm not bringing caeser fix-ins with me. No wayyy.
I later found out from some people we were meeting up with that guys going to New City Gas had to abide to a dress code. Wait there's more. No shorts allowed. And no sleeveless shirts. Did I mention the temperature in this place? What is that about? That is not right?? So I went in pants and the t-shirt I showed in the pictures as well, with my other shirt underneath. Guys ended up removing the outter shirts after so I did too. But it was still boiling.
So the concert started at 9 (we got there at midnight) and David Guetta started playing at 1:30 am. We were out by 3 am and got back to the hotel by 6 am because we went to someone's place afterward. The saddest thing?? I couldn't even have my McDonald's after drinking because it was so early and only served breakfast. But other than that it was a lot of fun and now I'm back to reality. But here are some photos of the day/night!
